I will be staying north of Wenatchee at Deroga State Park in a couple of weeks for a few days.

I have checked eBird for locations but there are quite a few hotspots. Just wondering if anyone has been in that area and has suggestions to visit for birding purposes? Locations within about 2 hours of Wenatchee would work.

Hi Chris, Sorry but I have not birded around there. Just in the north around Oroville. (which is great - Chewsaw Rd/Havillah loop). Chukar seem fairly easy just south of Nighthawk border crossing where it meets Loomis-Oroville Road. But this is all too far away. Looking forward to hearing a report!
