I forgot to share that I saw a sub-adult Northern Goshawk on Chilliwack Mountain from Hillkeep Regional Park. It was quite low and would have been a decent photo had I had my camera.
I also noted a Hermit Thrush (Swainson's Thursh still couple weeks out at least) Lincoln's and Fox Sparrow (both not overly common up there) Pacific-slope and Hammond's Flycatcher. A pair of Wood Ducks were in the western pond too. I don't think I've seen them there before.

Can you tell me more about Hillkeep? I have only been there once, and I had my youngest with me. He needs to be carried on steeper trails, so I didn’t go down the path that is right at the parking lot. It seems so many great birds are at this spot. Your mention of a pond has me interested in trying again (probably without kids) but I have no clue where it is. From where I stood, it seemed like a ravine with a narrow path going through it.

Hi Krissi, Here's a write-up about the park: fvbirding.com/Site%20Guide/Hillkeep/index.htmI've only been there 1 time (with a record breaking 3 species ). I believe there is also a map at the parking lot (cul-de-sac). The ponds are along the loop trail but pretty well covered with trees, so not particularly good for ducks. The link above has a map.
