During a family walk to Harrison we noted a good number of Surf Scoter out on the lake. A couple American Dipper were entertaining feeding off the rocks. Benny got a few new lifers as well; fun to watch a new birder enjoying the birds. At the playground a lone Chestnut-backed Chickadee was feeding with Black-caps in the small grove of trees nearby. Might be my first for the site. A young Horned Lark was also a highlight. _0216796 by Geordie LaForge, on Flickr

Hi Geordie,
A super photo of the Horned Lark. I love the background, shows off the beauty of the bird.
