We had a nice visit. A Blue-winged Teal went by nice and close to us. A much better photographic opportunity from a couple days ago _0216706 by Geordie LaForge, on Flickr On the East Loop the Wood Ducks were bathing and preening. Such beauties. _0216720 by Geordie LaForge, on Flickr I've have seen preference for these sorts of shots for blurred wings or frozen in motion. Given lower light conditions and slower shutter speed, preference today is some wing movement. _0216724 by Geordie LaForge, on Flickr _0216760 by Geordie LaForge, on Flickr At the feeders we saw a White-throated Sparrow. I suddenly remembered seeing one at Island 22 back in late September and also that it wasn't added to the September Challenge! Will fix that today and get October started. _0216768 by Geordie LaForge, on Flickr

I have a white-throated Sparrow at my feeder today a white striped morph. I see them here every few years but they don't stay very long. Denis
