Hi As a nature lover who lost his ability to walk later in life, I found this article inspiring. (Link Below) As a wheelchair traveller, I searched for accessible trails to view the wildlife in the regions we were visiting around the world. I was very lucky to find locals who were able to help us find accessible trails. We had some very challenging but wonderful times viewing birds and other wildlife. One rule we learned early is “never go down a hill you might not be able to wheel back on”. The work of Virginia Rose and her BIRDABILITY organization in the US is such a help for disabled bird watchers in the US. I was lucky enough to have wheeled some of the trails on the Birdability map.
