Since the previous domain (fraservalleybirding dot com) expired, and was bought by someone else, so I went ahead and bought a different domain to host the Fraser Valley Birding website. You can find it here: fvbirding.comI've made some small changes (like reusing the same menu for every page), but haven't had much free time to work on it. If there are any volunteers for maintaining the site, let me know! I've got a private GitHub repository setup, and would be glad to have others contribute. You'd want to be familiar with HTML, CSS, and (optionally) PHP and JS. I'm hoping that the current owner of the original domain doesn't renew it - so that I can snatch it back, but I doubt that'll happen... The original domain is quite valuable because there are hundreds of links pointing to it. Anyways, for new monthly challenges, replacing "fraservalleybirding" with "fvbirding" in the links should do the trick!

Hi One of my biggest worries administering a website is losing the domain name. I put every protection I can on the website for our society and still need to be vigilant. I get email account updates monthly. At first they seemed a waste of time but now I know they serve a purpose. I don't know much about the HTML etc. but if there are simple tasks for a novice, please let me know.
