Yesterday through the equestrian area I came across four singing American Redstarts! Three were at the usual west end and one was at the east side and could be heard from the horse paddocks.

That's great Gord! They really are beautiful little birds and their song is so strong for such a diminutive creature. I just received a great photo of a singing male in the sunshine over at Grant Narrows in the Pitt Polder area so I guess they're moving through just now.

Found a possible 4 today, 3 positively and one singing in the distance. Warbler songs are sometimes subtlety different and now that I have hearing assistance I’m hearing a lot of birdsong that I have to relearn.
