As I sit her looking out at the under construction native plant garden, I see paired birds, Purple finch, Black headed Grosbeaks, Eurasian collared doves.....
However, other than the female Western Tanager that did a drop in today, the only single bird I have is a Mourning Dove. This is the first year since we moved here (Dec. 2014) that we have not heard Mourning doves. So, looking for a mate for a he/she MODO that has been sitting above our deck (when not feeding with the others), for 3 days. He/she is sitting here right now!
