I got some good ones on a freezing cold run on Mt. Thurston today! -White-winged crossbill (Flock of 5. They were the first I’ve seen in many years) -Pine grosbeak (First I’ve seen in our area outside of Manning) -Northern Harrier (I’ve never seen one soaring in the subalpine)

Gabi, great additions! Nice find on both. The Ring-necked Pheasant looks in great shape. He's been running wild for quite a while or possibly was even born in the wild. Often ones that escape have very short tails.
Thanks to Gabi, we've surpassed the average species we see in October.
I also added last night:
Tundra Swan - I've seen a few around East Chilliwack and Cheam Lake Cinnamon Teal - Tuytten's Wetland in Agassiz Long-tailed Duck - Kawkawa Lake and Harrison Lake Red-breasted Merganser - Harrison Lake Virginia Rail - Cheam Lake Hermit Thrush - East Sector Park White-throated Sparrow - Tuytten's Wetland and Great Blue Heron Reserve
