Warblers will still be making their final push south, especially at the beginning of the month, with Yellow-rumped Warbler being the most numerous. Island 22 is a very good place to watch for warblers and other songbirds in October. Waterfowl numbers increase as the month goes on. Sardis Pond is a great place to photograph and watch waterfowl.
