Updated the list with WW pewee from Len as well as black swift from Gord. I also added Cooper's hawk and yellow warbler from my place yesterday.

A male Lazuli Bunting was giving his full-throated song on The Appel Rd. dyke in Agassiz yesterday. Haven't seen one for quite a while.

Not sure if Hermit or Swainson’s Thrush have been sighted. I had a glimpse of what I believe is a Hermit Thrush on May 3 at the Great Blue Heron Reserve. I would agree with Hermit. No lighter "bridge" between the eye and bill, also some reddish is visible on the tail.

I just watched a Great Horned Owl get mobbed by about 30 crows. They were causing such a commotion that half the neighbourhood came out to watch. I can still hear them continuing the chase off in the distance.

A Loggerhead Shrike was found at Hope Airport yesterday. Nearer the East end of the grassy runway. It stayed way out so scope views and a picture Joel got which shows it’s bold mask. Hopefully it can be found again

Hi We saw a Golden Eagle hunting near Kamp road on Seabird Island We also saw a Townsend's Solitaire and a Northern Harrier west of the Cheam Wetlands

We had a Chestnut-backed Chickadee at Douglas Taylor Park today.
