063 by henry wall, on Flickr Bald Eagle chasing the other Raptor? The second bird was black with the stomach and chest feathers were Black & White. Taken at the East end of McDonald Park.

Hard to say...
Looks kind-of like a heron to me. I think the color might be lacking in the photo (dark shadow on underside of wing) My other guess is cormorant (neck doesn't seem long enough though).

Jon i believe it was a Bald Eagle that was seriously undersized it has an Eagles beak and although the belly feathers look grey they were a mixture of black and white feathers on the belly . When it first turned in front of me i thought it was a Juvenile Bald Eagle because of the mottling on it`s belly and chest. However it can`t be one because of its size and it has predominately black feathers instead of the brown feathers of juvenile Bald Eagle.

My guess is Great Blue Heron because of what appears to be the tucked-in neck and long thin heron beak. The beak is too thin for an eagle.

I agree it's probably a great blue heron but sadly given the distant photo I suspect we will never know!
