I use to see them more frequently when I lived in town, around Colony Farm mostly. I have yet to see one since moving to Abbotsford but I see a lot of Audubon Yellow-rumps in the valley. When visiting the Kane Valley this week there were lots of Yellow-rumps around but only Audubon. Perhaps they migrate up the coast?

I was out at Jesperson Dike this PM and found a Female Myrtle YRWA. I was kind of surprised to see that eBird marks it as rare. I do wonder with these subspecies how many get reported as just Yellow-rumped Warbler... Might have something to do with the lack of records for Myrtle Once you get above the BC border into the Yukon and Alaska all you see are Myrtles. I noticed this on a trip a few years ago.

The Myrtle Yellow-rumped Warbler are migrants for the area so any bird after middle May until early August would be worth sharing a bit of documentation for the checklist.
