I have not even though in BC they're most likely to be found in the Fraser Delta. I have heard that they were very common in the early 1900's but have slowly declined as the habitat they like is replaced by urban sprawl which is favored by the Striped Skunk. I would like to see one as well one day.

Thank you for even mentioning such an animal as I was unaware there was a different type of skunk locally. When I use to live in New Westminster the Striped Skunk was way too common. I would frequently see them walking through my garden in the evenings and early morning. I checked images on line of the Spotted Skunk and it is certainly striking, visually. I noticed in the last week that I have been smelling skunks in various areas for the first time since I moved to the valley.
