Had a pair of Varied Thrush in my new little yard this morning. First I've seen since last spring. That brought my species count at the new place to 13. Still looking for a Chestnutback Chickadee...in fact haven't even seen a Black Cap since this weather hit but when Ernie was walking the dog over at Eagle Point yesterday morning he said the big weeping willow was full of Chickadees and he's pretty sure there was a Mountain Chickadee in with them.
