Hi- This year's male offspring from a mating between a female Red-Shafted-Flicker and a hybrid male produced one very friendly juvenile. He's been a regular visitor to our windowsill peanut feeder thus allowing me a few pics within a metre of the window. Also, just noticed that the Varied Thrushes have moved down to lower elevations today. Deb

nice shot! I have quite a few Flickers around now, too....several of which are intergrades.
