Hi everyone, My backyard was going crazy this morning. It must be migration. I was eating breakfast and I saw a Yellow-rumped warbler and several female Western tanagers. Upon further investigation, I got a male MacGillivray's Warbler!!! A life bird for me. ;D I didn't even have to go up Cheam, Gord! There were a lot of Yellow-rumpeds, and I also think I found a female Wilson's in there too as well as a couple unID. Anyway, not bad for my backyard. --Jeff P.S.--Kind of surprising considering the creek behind our house is dry, for the first time in the 3 1/2 years we've lived here.

Nice work! Now I dont have to ever look at a MacGillvray's warbler again and muse to myself "wish Jeff were here!" Sounds like you have a good riparian zone trees/shrubs in your backyard where your creek is/was?
