Didn't know where to put this. We are proud to announce that we have an exhibit called "Fine Furred & Feathered Friends of the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve" (big enough title?). It consits of some of the photos that we took at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve and will be on display in the Great Hall at The Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve in Chilliwack, B.C.

Dian and I checked out the heron reserve Sunday for the first time and it was a pleasant outing. At the far west end of the loop is a yellow gate. About 10-20 feet south of the gate on the west side of the trail there is a pair of Bushtits building a nest in Willows. Also saw 2 Downy Woodpeckers 1 Pileated The nesting activity of the Herons was well under way.

Congratulations on the exhibit. When will it start? How long is it on for? I am planning a photo outing for an out of town guest from the Kelowna Photo club and the GBHR is a must see, and would be even more exciting if it coinsided your exhibit.

Bruce and Joanne, congratulations on a beautiful display. I like your choices and how they are displayed too. Very nicely done. I love the fawns (and everything else) and that all are from the reserve which is impressive.
I hope others get a chance to see it!

Absolutely beautiful - from the pictures, framing choices, to the display arrangement. My visiting ladies from the Okanogan Camera Club enjoyed walking the "wet" reserve and seeing the heron nests, but their chatter on the long drive home was centered on your photography. Their delight was obvious. Kudos on a stunningly beautiful array of photos

Thanks for taking the ladies to see our exhibit, Linda. We really appreciate your kind words. The exhibit will come down on Wednesday April 30th and Bill Clark will have an exhibit up for the month of May. Love the photos of the Mandarin Ducks!!! Wow!
