Thats a lot of chipmunks. I looked to see what a group of chipmunks is called but couldn't find one. A group of squirrels is called a scurry. What do you think a group of chipmunks should be called. I'll start off with a stripe of chipmunks.

A group of Chipmunks is also known as a "Scurry". I guess no one has given much thought to coming up with a unique "group" name as they are generally solitary animals. I call a group of 6 Chipmunks a "Photo op" lol but will give some thought to group names

My neighbour up on the Sunshine Coast sent me a blurry pic of a new? arrival, a Northern Pygmy Owl! Really bad news for the Chipmunks who are its' favourite prey!! pygmy owl1 by BirderBert, on Flickr
