There was a Say's Phoebe at the main parking lot at the front of the park yesterday. I might not have noticed it had not a noisy Rufous Hummingbird buzzing around caused me to look over in that direction. As far as I know, this is the first time that species has been documented in the park. That will bring the species count to 180 for the park.

I was at the Hope Airport Monday on my way to 103 Mile House and saw 2 SAPH and 7 Purple Finch at the west end of the area and a Northern Shrike to the north. They must be moving through. Congratulations on getting the new park SAPH. Denis

Denis, thanks for the report. It's been a good spring for Say's Phoebe.

Your welcome. I'll have to check the Camp Wildlife area as I have had them there before. Denis
