I was dismayed to watch a fellow birder smile at me and proceed to stomp past a NoTrespassing sign to take a photo of the Gyrfalcon today. It is time to review the code of ethics that we all should live by when birding. Other people's property and the bird's well being are more important than getting a photo or a look at the bird. Here is a link to the American Birding Association's Code of Ethics: www.aba.org/about/ethics.htmlPlease read it and try to abide by the code so that you do not spoil it for everyone else! Oh, thanks for the link! Totally new to this, so I was going to ask if there were guidelines somewhere that I could look up, though not breaking the law should be a no-brainer!

That's disappointing to hear. Hopefully the individual recognizes their mistake and it doesn't occur again.
