I was pleasantly surprised to wake up this morning to some sun. First stop was Harrison. As I was getting out of my car a bird landed on the barrier then flew onto the beach. It was a Say's Phoebe. Scaup, few Shovelers, Ring-necked Ducks and Mallards were in the lagoon. Not too much on the lake. Was shocked to see a Pied-billed Grebe out in the middle of the lake. On the northeast side of the lagoon were six Mountain Bluebird, 3 males and 3 females. Most I have seen at Harrison. There were also 3 Western Meadowlarks. Finally had my first hummingbird.
