Thanks Martin. Not too much to soak in at all. But Heres a question for you to help solve a dilemma. I ordered a Lens Kit thru. ebay and it includes the Tele Conversion Lens, Close-up Lens and UV,PL & ND lenses. When I attach the Tele Converter to my Lumix FZ35 after setting the camera to Conversion (Tele) When I depress the shutter the Lens Barrel automatically extends but is stopped by the Tele Converter Lens. LCD says remove lens cap. Is there any way I can stop the lens barrel extending. (I cant afford a new camera!) If not Ill be sending them back. Thanks a bunch birding buddies.

Did you get DMW-LT55 teleconverter and the Lens Adaptor(DMW-LA3) for attachment?

Hi Butterfly. No. Even though it was posted & advertized for The Lumix FZ35 it is a Vivitar Teleconverter, comes with adaptor and other lenses that do fit. BUT the problem is when the camera is turned on and shutter depressed the lens tries to extend but can't because of the converter attachment. I set the camera for converter as required. Think I will have to send it back to Florida. You can phone me if you like at (604) 858-0995 (Len)

Hey Martin,
Thanks again for your suggestions. Just to fill you in. The camera shop phoned me from Florida and said they are sending a connector attachment to extend the Adapter enough to allow my camera telephoto lens to extend without it being obstructed by the Teleconverter lens. Hopefully it will work and I can try it out successfully. Would like to get in to NW Queens Park to capture shots of the lost bird. (I checked the links you gave me. Thanks.)
