Hope this qualifies as a rare bird! Several grebes were on Kawkawa Lk. today including two Eared Grebes. Some others were two Western and three or more Pied-billed Grebes. Also seen were four Ruddy Ducks, Common Mergansers, Common Goldeneye, Bufflehead, Ring-necked and Lesser Scaup Ducks, and a single juvenile Trumpeter Swan. An American Dipper foraged along the shoreline.

For this time of year Murray, definitely qualifies. Nice work.
Good variety of waterfowl on the lake. I wonder if migratory birds use it during the Spring and Fall?
