Tree Swallows are back at Eagle Point Park ;D ;D ;D
My neighbour has just come back from a walk over there and said 'he wanted to get in the record book'. The Tree Swallows were checking out the nest boxes.

Hi Jason....re the Mountain Bluebirds....I checked back and I've seen them as early as March 6th out on the flats...also have the date of March 24th and a few more in between. They seem to hang around in the area for a while once they arrive. I think if the weather is at all decent this coming weekend Ernie & I will probably try to get out there and take a look. In the meantime I'll watch from the edges. I hate going out there because then other people see us and do the same thing. Yesterday there were a couple of fishermen out there and today one of my neighbours out walking.....as long as there aren't too many going out and the ATV's and dirt bikes stay away I guess it isn't too damaging. By the way, saw the Tree Swallows for myself this afternoon....only saw two but it sounded like more.
