I have received to phone calls lately of some interesting sightings. A friend of mine forwarded some pictures of Western Meadowlarks near Banford/McGuire. I was told there was a flock of ten in the area. Impressive numbers. He took this picture to back-up his ID Another non-birding friend called about a large bird that was being dive-bombed by crows near her home in town. Near Young/Lewis a large very white bird with much wider wings than a gull was in an evergreen being bombed by crows. It then flew north for a short distance with crows following and then circled back and headed towards downtown. Interesting....anyone else thinking Snowy??? All for now, Dave

I live around that area so I'll have to keep my eyes open. Thanks for the update. I find it impressive that they managed a photo of Meadowlark. I can rarely get close and when I do, I had no idea they were there.
