CBC today, almost as miserable as last year. It was well bellow zero with the wind. Marion and I worked Agassiz to the river and a bit on the CHWK side. Only 33 species, the usual hardy souls crows, juncos starlings etc. Good year for eagles and Varied Thrush, and Goldeneyes. Missed some obvious stuff, just wasn't around. Finally found a group of almost 150 C. Geese out on Appel Rd. and 14 Trumpeter Swans on the Maria Slough, but not much else, and hardly any gulls.
Once again, I'm proud to contribute to the largest "citizen science" project on the planet.
