There are many Northern Flickers around our place right now. Occasionally I see them fighting with the starlings. Basking in the fall sun on our porch post. Trumpeter Swans in the field on the corner of Prest and Yale. I saw these interesting variations of the Rock Pigeon at my brother's house last week.

Cute House Finch. Those pigeons, not two are the same unless the 'typical' grey ones. Ive also noticed the flickers have little patience with the starlings. Seems both species like to root around in the grass. Almost seems odd for a woodpecker to do that!
