Woke up early so went by Cheam Lake looking for that Virginian . No Luck, but heard a couple of "meows"... Found the Gray Catbird, by the parking lot, same spot as last year!

Kev's catbird had some company today! ;D He seemed quite happy so I'm pretty sure it was not a male intruding on his territory he has tirelessly protected with his entertaining song pretty much all day long since his arrival. The little sounds they were making, many 'meows' included, was charming. I hope they have a successful nest again!

Today I saw adult catbirds feeding newly fledged young at Cheam Lake. Not sure how many, but at least two!
