hi all Happy Easter.. Well for a little sharing of funnies,my hubby (who bird watches under pressure )is a great spotter, but this is priceless...he spotted the red guy and asker what it could be...the fact that it never moved would be a clue???!!! yep some one had put the toy in the tree!!! the other Blue bird is in Merritt it is very much darker and a totally solid blue ...it has black wing bars ...Is it a Mountain Blue bird??

Usually I spot branches that I think are birds.
The last one is a Mountain Bluebird. Such a beautiful bird and still looking for my first one.

Hehe, Im always good to have a closer look at branches or a leaf that did not fall with the rest too.

Nice Mountain Bluebird too! They arent supposed to have dark wingbars, but the light can cast shadows or cause different colours to show depending on angle. What blue! I wonder if the older the bird the more blue they get?
