Deb, that's a Red-winged Blackbird. Probably an immature male. They are virtually identical to the female until their second year. But they always arrive much earlier, like right now. Always a nice feeder bird.

Thanks Murray. Although we do see American Dippers in the Fraser, we've never seen Red-winged Blackbirds at our feeders nor around the property. It's a new backyard bird species for us.
