WOW!!!! That is a beautiful shot and really really nicely composed as well!! This makes me want to hasten to get the new website up and going as photo of the month (year!) is right there! ;D ;D ;D

Hi John! The owl was sitting on top of the post which holds my birdfeeder. Luckily I had my camera handy as I haven't seen it since. Needless to say, I have duly informed Dave of my find !! (I mean, he has to have some reason to come back to Canada...)

1. Maria has a Northern Pygmy Owl waiting. 2. John and Bill have Bohemian Waxwings in waiting. 3. Gord has a Slaty-backed Gull waiting.
3 North American lifebirds in one day???

Just thought I would add a short note. I can see, from my office window, about 30 Bohemian Waxwings eating at the tree JohnV alerted us to yesterday. It would be very simple for a certian person to step outside and get a life bird! Should that person be in China, it becomes a little more difficult...........
