Hello Fellow Birders, Here are 2 photos that I particularly like from when some of my friends and I went to Vancouver on Saturday. Enjoy!

Nice pictures, Marinus! I like the way the green strands out on the Violet-Green Swallow! I was at Reifel on Saturday as well, and was hoping for my life Tufted Duck. Unfortunately, the Tufted boy showed up on Sunday instead of Saturday Two highlights for me at Reifel were 1. Seeing an American Bittern that JohnV nicely pointed out for us less experienced birders. 2. Enjoying 5 Great-Horned Owls...Two owlets in a nest, one owlet just out of the nest, and two adults in a nearby tree Here is a picture of 2 young owls getting ready to leave the nest anyday! On the way out of Reifel, we stopped and enjoy a few thousand Snow Geese, with little Mr. Cackling in the middle. It sure was a beautiful day! Dave

Nice photographs you two!
I agree, the green on that Violet-green Swallow is stunning.
Those owlets are uniquely charming! ;D
