I took advantage of the weather and went to Hope. No rain or wind and a lot of birds were present! I parked on the northeast side and there were around 25 WC Sparrows, 5 Lincoln's, and around 8 Savannah Sparrows. WC Sparrows were at most parts of the airport. I ended up with 65 but I also couldn't ID a lot of birds.
Also had 2 Fox Sparrows, 4 Chipping, and 1 Vesper. Two Townsend's Solitaires were great to see. Had around 35 YR Warblers and there was a flock of 30 SNow Geese flying west.
Sewage Lagoons wasn't as active but good numbers of swallows overhead.
Kawkawa had good numbers of swallows as well along with 24 Buffleheads. Thought I might get more waterfowl.
Finally, had a singing Nashville and Black-throated Gray Warbler at Thacker.

Chris, I was up there as well but the weather had obviously changed by the time I got there. Lots of wind and rain and relatively few birds. For me the highlights would be a small flock of sparrows feeding on the gravel roadway that included at least three Vesper Sparrows and a Savannah, in with the juncos and white crown's. A solitaire and a couple of vultures and of course many of the expected robins and Tree Swallows.
