Back in early November I saw this seal out on the log boom. I've never seen one white like this before but also not sure if they have variation in colours. It sort of looks like it could be leucistic? Also one of the larger ones I've ever seen. _0232329 by Geordie LaForge, on Flickr _0232328 by Geordie LaForge, on Flickr

One of the seals I saw at Sasquatch was very light, almost white. The Harbour seals I have seen on the East coast vary greatly in colour, all the white ones I have seen have had black splotches/patches on them.

Ken, my thoughts as well that they have the black spots. This one seems to lack them although it was at a bit of a distance. Ben, thanks for the laugh. That's not far off!
