Tropical Kingbird Chilliwack Nov 2

This afternoon I saw a Tropical Kingbird from Vedder Road at the Molson’s Brewery. I last saw it going east towards the building near the now blocked off Elder Avenue which is between the highway and Kerr Avenue. I turned around to try and find it but no luck in the couple minutes I had to try for it. Not the nicest habitat but if it keeps going east it might show up where the Western Kingbird spent a few days this fall. Neat birds to have come all the way up here but they’re almost annual, especially on the coast, usually in November.

I checked this afternoon with no luck. The fenceline around the brewery and scattered trees has some hope that it might use. I also checked Parr Road which is just northwest of the sighting. Hope it turns up.
