I got to stop at one of my favourite spots on the way home from a family holiday this weekend: White Lake. We also spent some time at Skaha Bluffs but I didn't get the chance to do much birding there. Highlights for White Lake were the numerous Meadowlarks, a Rough-legged Hawk, Western and Mountain Bluebirds, and an eagle that could have been a golden, though I can't say I'm a hundred percent sure. I kept an ear out for Canyon Wren but no luck there. They seem to be more reliable at Vaseaux Cliffs and near the trails around Carmi Rd.

White Lake is an awesome place. I've had luck with Canyon Wren just a little east of the parking area along the path. Haynes Lease is also a good spot for Canyon Wren and I also had Chukar there.
