Has anyone else noticed not many Kingfishers around? I've seen one around the Hope Sewage Lagoon but none nowhere else.

Has anyone else noticed not many Kingfishers around? I've seen one around the Hope Sewage Lagoon but none nowhere else. Yes. I asked Gord about it earlier, and he said it's maybe because of the cold snap that they all looked for open water. I did faintly hear one at Nicomen slough a week ago, but otherwise I still haven't seen many since the beginning of January. Even Cheam lake doesn't have one yet, from what I've seen...

Same, haven't seen them since January... I did run into a guy at Willband though who said he had seen two on his way in (on my way out I didn't see them, but he seemed to know what he was talking about..)

Have not seen many, checking My logs almost all are Hope Airport (Bristol Slough)\ Hope sewage, so really just one area.
The 2 on Bristol Slough were not fighting over territory, seemed to be getting along very nicely!

I saw one in April on the Sumas River in the middle of the river on a washed up tree, near the bridge (by the gun club) and one at Willband.
