For several years I have enthusiastically photographed the Bald Eagles that gathered for the Harrison River Salmon run, I take thousands of photos and spend months processing them. I save the photos that I like; not always the best shots but those that appeal to me at that time. This year I went to check out the Harrison Mills area in late October and was surprised to see many Bald Eagles and lots of fish already spawning. I had never seen so much activity so early. I was there again yesterday and there were many Bald Eagles and fish were still spawning. This appears to be an extra long season. Not everyone can get out to see them or perhaps their timing was off when they went but here is a sample for those who are interested, you can also find many more images on my Flickr page.
