John V, Larry, and I tried for the recently-reported Prairie falcon and Gyrfalcon in the Pitt Meadows area today. Though we dipped on the Gyr, we did enjoy amazing views of the Prairie. Other birds of prey included Bald eagle, Cooper's hawk, and American kestrel. The Prairie was a BC bird for Larry, and a lifer for me: Prairie falcon by Joel Schmidt, on Flickr
