Hi all, On Thursday, my afternoon class was cancelled, so I took the opportunity to take my nephews and nieces with their moms to the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve. Thanks Scott for the heads up on the herons' return. The youngest one slept through it all! They really enjoyed using the binoculars at least. This way, Uncle Jeff? Ohhhh, now I get it! Wow, what happened to their necks, Uncle Jeff? They sure are big through these things! Biologists at heart...analyzing horse...uh...droppings

Ha...Ha...loved the pictures, Jeff. Thanks for sharing! Maybe I should take my 11 month old son out soon to indoctrinate him early. DB

Hey Jeff; We saw you out there with all your "ducks" in a row on Thursday and thought how great the whole group looked, we wondered if the little fellows and gals were going to make it all the way back along the dyke road. That's a long walk for little people. A good dog that meets a lot of your criteria except energy because they need to have something to do as they are herding dogs is the border collie, they are easy to train, great with children and very intelligent. Talk to someone with one and get some more info on them. They are a nice dog.
