Waders on Parade; All Snowies, I think. Barra de Navidad; Oaxaca State. Summer Tananger; Guyacamas; Chiapas State. Pauline took this one. I think it's a Rufous-tailed Hummingbird; Guyacamas; Chiapas State. Scarlet Macaw; Guyacamas, Chiapas State. The Guyacamous Eco Lodge, where we stayed for three nights, had built two nest boxes for these birds, and, as it was breeding time, to see these great birds, you just had to wait around these boxes towards the end of the day, as they returned for the night. Another Scarlet Macaw; ( Guyacmas Roja ); Guyacmas, Chiapas State. One more Macaw; Guyacamas, Chiapas. The female was in the box, and the male was standing guard. Bat Falcon; Palenque Mayan Ruins, Chiapas State; pretty dramatic setting for this great looking bird. That's all she wrote. Cheers, Thor Thor Manson Hope, B.C.

After visiting Chichinitza, Coba and Tulum a few years ago I have always wanted to see Palenque and Tikal. Your pictures have given me the urge to get off my butt. Very nice Thor.
