I spotted my first Cedar Waxwings of the season. Three were hanging out near the very flooded Sumas River at the end of North Parallel Road. I was pleased to still see and hear one of the Lazuli Buntings I saw last week in the same area. Cedar Waxwing by Nick, on Flickr The Cliff Swallows were still gathering mud for their nests at the greatly reduced puddle.
