Sorry for any problems. This is my first time Several days ago I took several pictures of a group of young northwest crows - for practice. Upon reviewing the photos, I noticed a dark but distinct blueish colour to the wings. It was an intersting field mark that I had never noticed before

No problems with the picture! Posted perfectly. Well done.
I cant say Ive ever really noticed the bluish sheen! I wonder if ravens have it too and if so, what causes it?
Good reminder to pay attention to even the 'common' birds. I catch myself sort of ignoring these guys on birding trips, and then enjoy watching the antics of the chickadees or seeing a common bird doing something new. Also is excellent for spotting new birds and rarities as you're very familiar with the common birds in your area that new things pop right out.
