If you want to monitor the water levels of BC (or Canadian) Rivers, click on this link. scitech.pyr.ec.gc.ca/waterweb/formnav.aspYou can choose stations placed in rivers throughout the Province. For us, the ones of interest is of course the Fraser River. South Fort George, Hope and Mission are ones I look at. It takes about 3 days for water at South Fort George (Prince George area) to get down here. The Thompson, South Thompson and North Thompson are good rivers to look at as well as they put about 1/4 of the flow into the Fraser. As long as it stays cool with no heavy rains or extended hot spells in the Interior, we should be ok. A big dump of rain in the next week or another week of hot weather in the next week (or, worst case scenario) BOTH it could get scary again. I think we're going to be ok though.

Great site Gord! Thanks for the heads up on it.
I could play around with the graphs for ever. ;D
Fascinating how the levels vary by the hour.

I have fun with it too. It's especially fun to see how the rivers react to a good rain or hot day.
