And none too soon! It's been pretty quiet out there of late, but the crummy weather doesnt help though. Ive been noticing an increase of robins lately. Not the flocks here and there of the ones who brave our winters and concentrate near food sources, but single birds flying around. A couple days ago I think I saw about 4 or 5 in one day at various locations. Also the red-winged blackbirds are setting up shop too. On the highway between Abbotsford and Mission I saw three males sitting on the wires above the marshy sections near Wilband Park no doubt singing and getting their territory promoted. Boy, wont be long before the first swallows are seen and perhaps a hummingbird as well! ;D ;D
