Got up early Sunday morning and drove to Boundary Bay and the surrounding area and was greeted by an amazing sunrise. We were hoping to see a snowy or two, some harriers and short eared owls. Nor much in the the way of snowys and short eared but did manage to see a long eared owl for the first time. Found 3 long eared owls. Lighting wasn,t great but did manage to get a few pictures.

Then it was off to Reifel and also managed to see and photograph a lifer for me
Great Horned owl (there were 2 of them but one was concealed)
Next up was a Saw-Whet Owl
Along with a ton of eagles, herons, ducks, and small birds, it was a great day.
