I have a pond I visit regularly and sometimes I see Otter there. It has been about a year but they were back today and put on a show for a couple of hours. I have made up a blog of my experience with them; lenanddiansadventures.blogspot.ca

Beautiful pictures again. Good to see that the otters are finding lots to eat. Interesting comment about the sound of the shutter - in some of these shots, they do seem to be interested in where the sound is coming from.

Great pictures. Otters are definitely one of my favourite animals to watch. I especially like picture #6 showing all the teeth. It reminds me of an otter that I saw in Town Centre Park in Coquitlam earlier this year that was sitting on a branch poking out of the water crunching on something crunchy with claws. He made short work of his snack and now that I can see its eating utensils better I can see why. I made a short 15 or 20 second video of the snacking otter so if I can make it presentable I'll post a link.
