Saw it sitting in the sunshine on a big rock yesterday just around the park boundary. Beautiful animal, totally caught me off guard seeing it there!

Hi, Yager and welcome. Thanks for sharing your sighting! Do you see many in your travels? While on the topic of Bobcats, I've seen lots of sign around Cheam Lake Wetlands of late suggesting the animals continue to use the area. There is a big one and two small ones judging by the prints but I doubt they are young with their mom as they leave her a few months after being weaned. I have seen more than one Bobcat together in the past during the winter and I suspect they are likely siblings.

Nope this is my first time! I dont get to see much wild life when Im out and about as my kids are young and noisy and scare things away, so I always get excited when I do see things. (this sighting was from the car)

Hehe, I know how that works with noisy kids! They are good for bear country though! Glad you got to see a Bobcat; beautiful animals.
