Little Gull and Parasitic Jaegers Harrison Lake

Rick Toochin was out in a boat on Harrison Lake yesterday and photographed 8 Parasitic Jaegers near Echo Island and a Little Gull past Long Island!! Attached are his pics.

Long Island is quite a ways up the lake, but the bird could head more south and end up viewable from land. Certainly a bird to keep our eyes out for!

Absolutely incredible. I think I would have fallen out of the boat with seeing the jaegers. Who needs to go on a pelagic birding trip when one has the Harrison? On that note, I hereby change the name of Harrison Lake to Harrison Ocean.
